Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robotics Software Engineer for a 100% remote position. You will design, implement, and integrate software powering autonomous robots and robotic platforms across sensor integration, localization, motion planning, and perception.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust software, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring production-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, CS, EE, or related field.
• 5+ years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filters.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate software for autonomous robots and platforms.
• Work across full robotics stack from sensors to high-level perception and behavior.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and operations teams.
• Contribute to code reviews and design reviews; mentor junior engineers.
• Document software architecture and interfaces.
