Job summary

Everforth ECS in Fairfax, VA seeks a Jr Data Engineer for a hybrid on-site/remote role supporting AI and Cloud solutions, with a DoD Pathfinder program involvement. You will work in a multidisciplinary team on data ingestion, transformation, and ML readiness.

The candidate should have Python and SQL experience, coursework or experience in geospatial data, and the ability to collaborate with software engineers and project managers while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree in a data/CS/engineering related field.
• 0-2+ years in data science/CS/engineering.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical meetings with customers, vendors, and team to coordinate datasets.
• Work with engineers to extract, transform, and standardize data for ML ingestion.
• Support data ingestion automation and development of data services and pipelines.
• Assist with integration of ML algorithms for testing and deployment.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Data Team to determine data requirements.
• Handle multiple tasks under changing priorities and deadlines.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and customer service.
