- 25 years of full-time work experience in insurance underwriting.
- 10 most recent years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty experience in Farm & Agricultural business.
- Ability to underwrite and price farm insurance risks.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and underwrite farm and agricultural insurance risks.
- Review applications, loss histories, and financial information for pricing.
- Apply underwriting guidelines to determine coverage terms.
- Develop relationships with independent agents and brokers.
- Provide underwriting guidance to agents on farm risks and coverage solutions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and profitability.
- Collaborate with loss control, claims, and product teams.
