WAHVE LLC seeks experienced Commercial Lines Underwriters for remote, long-term positions. Candidates should bring extensive insurance background and be able to continue contributing from home with flexible full- or part-time schedules.

Ideal applicants will have 25 years of full-time work in insurance and the last 10 years in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty, across multiple lines such as liability, property, auto, cyber, and more. This is a remote opportunity with full benefits.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience in the insurance industry.
• 10 most recent years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate risk selection with proper insured classification.
• Make underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage, and pricing.
• Manage a portfolio of new and renewal business with book focus.
• Develop and maintain relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers.
• Maintain file documentation per company guidelines.
• Aim for underwriting profitability within the assigned book.
