Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines for remote support (Eastern Time) with Florida experience. The role focuses on administrative and client service tasks for the account team, under supervision of an AM/AE/Producer.

The ideal candidate holds 3+ years in insurance client service, active licensing (CISR preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Policy Management: Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Task Processing: Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• New and Renewal Support: Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, and follow up for issuance.
• Contract Review: Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Accounts Receivable: Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• System Maintenance: Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Activity Monitoring: Manage activity/suspense for timely completion.
• Communication: Maintain regular communication with the account team about workload and issues.
• Service Excellence: Deliver responsive service and anticipate needs.
• Policy Compliance: Stay current on company policies and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Seek best practices to improve performance.
• Champion IOA Values: Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
