Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Core Infra Systems team within the Platform group. You will drive cross-cloud infrastructure initiatives across AWS, GCP, and Networking, and build self-service tooling to empower product teams.

You will collaborate with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing teams to embed guardrails and standardize infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable cloud foundations that power Coinbase's services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP
• Experience with cloud networking primitives and IaC tools

Responsibilities

• Own cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives across AWS, GCP, and Networking pillars
• Build and maintain self-service tooling and defaults for safe provisioning
• Partner with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing to embed guardrails
• Drive standardization across multi-cloud environments
• Lead technical investigations and scale foundational systems
