Job summary

Kelso Building Services (KBS) in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior BAS Technician to service and optimize building automation systems across a diverse set of facilities. You will troubleshoot BAS controllers, perform preventive maintenance, and support upgrades while delivering exceptional customer service and clear documentation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of BAS experience, strong HVAC knowledge, and the ability to read control drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of BAS service experience.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read control drawings and sequences of operation.
• Experience commissioning and servicing DDC systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to pass background and drug tests.
• Strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair BAS control systems and field devices.
• Diagnose HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Support controller replacements, upgrades, and migrations.
• Validate sequences of operation and optimize performance.
• Assist with commissioning and startup activities.
• Document work and maintain backups.
• Develop strong customer relationships.
