Kelso Building Services is seeking a Senior BAS Technician to service and optimize commercial BAS/HVAC systems across client sites. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain control systems, mentor junior techs, and coordinate with project managers and customers to ensure peak facility performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BAS service experience.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience reading control drawings and sequences of operation.
• Experience commissioning and servicing DDC systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair BAS control systems and field devices.
• Diagnose HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service inspections.
• Support controller replacements, upgrades, migrations, and system expansions.
• Validate sequences of operation and optimize system performance.
• Assist with commissioning, retro-commissioning, and startup activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and system backups.
• Support enterprise and site-level building automation platforms.
• Develop strong customer relationships.
• Mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
