Placements24 is hiring a Remote Automotive Diagnostic Specialist to support customers nationwide from a fully remote team. You will conduct remote diagnostics using specialized software to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues without on-site visits.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years as Automotive Technician or Diagnostic Specialist.
Strong ability to interpret diagnostic trouble codes and live data.
Excellent remote communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform remote diagnostics on a wide range of vehicle makes/models using specialized software.
Analyze diagnostic data to identify root causes and provide actionable solutions to field technicians.
Collaborate virtually with dealership service departments to provide expert support.
Document diagnostic processes, findings and resolutions in a knowledge base.
Stay updated on new vehicle technologies and software updates.
Provide remote training and mentorship on advanced diagnostic techniques.
