Akkodis is seeking an experienced Automotive Electrical Diagnostics System Specialist in Allen Park, MI. The role is a technical hotline position requiring hands-on diagnostic expertise and excellent communication with dealership technicians.
Pay ranges from $32.16/hr to $36.16/hr, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST. After training, work is primarily remote with one onsite meeting weekly.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of electrical diagnostic experience in automotive/technical environment.
- Technical Hotline / Technical Support Call Center experience required.
- Automotive diagnostic/electrical background required.
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams/schematics.
- Professional communication with dealership technicians.
- Remain professional when dealing with frustrated customers/dealers.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to Ford dealerships and technicians through a technical hotline.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose automotive electrical and diagnostic issues.
- Review and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Help dealership technicians identify the root cause of vehicle electrical and diagnostic problems.
- Provide clear, accurate technical guidance and troubleshooting steps.
- Document diagnostic issues, solutions, and technical information as needed.
- Support warranty-related diagnostic issues for Ford vehicles.
- Work with automotive diagnostic systems and technologies.
