Job summary

Aspire General Insurance is seeking an experienced Material Damage Specialist to assess auto damage, estimate repairs, and negotiate settlements. The role involves reviewing photos, coordinating with repair facilities, and ensuring timely, fair resolutions while complying with state regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Property & Casualty insurance required.
• 5+ years handling auto damage estimates, repairs, and total loss evaluations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of repair processes, estimating practices, and valuation methodologies.
• Experience negotiating with repair facilities and resolving claim issues.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate auto damage and determine ACV and settlement values.
• Prepare detailed repair estimates using standard estimating software.
• Negotiate repair costs and settlements with facilities and other parties.
• Review photos, documentation, and repair plans to support decisions.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and document activity in systems.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and DoI requirements.
