Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Sr. Maintenance & Reliability Engineer at our Idaho facility to lead PM program design, optimization, validation, and data-driven improvements.

You will ensure PM tasks are completed correctly, on time, and deliver reliability gains, guided by RCA findings and equipment performance data. You will mentor teams, manage CMMS (SAP) work orders and scheduling, and drive cross-functional RCA efforts with maintenance and operations to improve schedule adherence and overall

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in reliability, maintenance, or manufacturing Eng in food/bev/CPG.
• Experience building and improving PM programs; CMMS with work orders and scheduling.
• Experience leading RCA and driving reliability improvements.
• Knowledge of reliability tools: FMEA, MTBF/MTTR, failure analysis.
• Experience PM compliance, schedules, backlog reduction.
• Familiarity with predictive and condition-based maintenance techs.
• Ability to analyze equipment data and turn insights into action.
• Strong communication to influence across teams.
• Certs like CMRP, CRE, Lean Six Sigma are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate PM task frequency and quality to optimize risk and costs.
• Lead PM validation to ensure tasks completed on time and deliver reliability outcomes.
• Conduct field audits and provide feedback on compliance and quality.
• Use MTBF trends and RCA findings to adjust PM tasks.
• Develop PM task standards with labor estimates and procedures.
• Lead PM rationalization to remove redundant tasks.
• Support transition to condition-based/predictive maintenance.
• Advise CMMS task lists, maintenance plans, and scheduling.
• Lead RCA for significant equipment failures with cross-functional teams.
• Translate RCA findings into corrective actions and monitor closures.
• Integrate RCA insights into weekly maintenance schedule and risk prioritization.
• Mentor in reliability, PM methodology, and data-driven decisions.
• Analyze downtime and maintenance cost data to identify gaps.
