Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all plant maintenance, facilities, utilities and operations, with a focus on reducing downtime and driving peak efficiencies at our Twin Falls facility in Idaho. You will direct capital engineering design and projects, collaborate with vendors, and lead the maintenance team and supervisor, ensuring food safety and product quality across operations.

This role requires a Bachelor's in industrial engineering or related field, at least five years

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience in food plant maintenance.
• Must be computer literate; experienced in using software such as CADD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
• Must have understanding of PLC and logic controls for high speed equipment.
• Prior experience using production SAP is a plus.
• Basic Asset Reliability knowledge and accounting knowledge required.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for stated requirements.
• Serve as back up in the absence of Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate within established maintenance budget and monitor expenditures.
• Assist with planning and cost estimates for annual and longer-term capital budgets.
• Lead capital projects and coordinate with internal and external resources.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and oversee building operations.
• Establish criteria for evaluating quality of work by employees and contractors.
• Supervise work through reports, site inspections, and meetings with operations and vendors.
• Investigate facility conditions and recommend improvements to meet needs.
• Demonstrate broad project management and facilities administration experience.
• Interact with all levels of the organization and communicate effectively.
• Maintain safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
