Job summary

Alliant Energy seeks a Lead Maintenance and Reliability Specialist to maximize reliability and efficiency of generation assets. You will lead predictive and preventive maintenance programs, provide hands-on field support, and mentor the maintenance team to ensure safe, effective operation of generating equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in maintenance/reliability or related field.
• 10+ years of technical/professional experience with 7+ years in generating equipment maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of maintenance strategies and generating equipment such as turbines, generators, boilers, fans, pumps, and large motors.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs for generating equipment.
• Develop cost estimates for equipment repair or system improvements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and reliability staff.
• Analyze predictive maintenance test results and lead root cause analysis.
• Maintain maintenance backlog data and ensure accurate documentation in databases.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop equipment standards incorporating predictive maintenance.
