Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Reliability Engineer to improve application availability, latency, and performance while automating incident detection.

You will collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to conduct reliability studies, monitor system health, and implement proactive monitoring and alerts. The role requires experience in SRE or reliability engineering, with hands-on knowledge of dashboards, telemetry, and cloud-native architectures, including Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6–8 years of relevant work experience in IT service management, risk analysis, production support, or application development.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliability studies for engineering designs.
• Measure and analyze the reliability of the design, materials, processes, cost, and final products.
• Recommend design or test methods and SPC procedures for achieving required reliability.
• Perform risk analysis on new designs and processes.
• Undertake testing and analysis on failures, proposing changes to improve reliability.
