Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a staff-level reliability engineer to lead reliability improvements from NTI/NPI to mass production for advanced CMOS technology. The role involves collaboration with Korea HQ, customers, and Fab teams to drive experiments, evaluations, and reliability modeling.

The position requires an MS/PhD in engineering or physics and 5+ years of semiconductor experience, with opportunities to author papers and influence integration strategies for next-generation

Qualifications

MS or PhD in Engineering or Physics preferred.
5+ years of related experience in semiconductor process, product or device engineering.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to direct a team for reliability improvement activities.
Identify, plan, and execute reliability evaluations for NTI/NPI, technology qualification, process changes and abnormal events.
Manage solutions to integration problems across Fab, PIE, Device, Product Test to improve reliability.
Design, execute, and analyze designed experiments to improve fabrication processes.
Utilize reliability models to extract lifetime from time-to-fail data.
Author papers for symposiums/journals and participate in external conferences.
