Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a staff-level reliability engineer to oversee reliability of new technology introductions and drive reliability improvements from NTI/NPI to mass production. The role collaborates with Korea HQ, customers, and Fab to ensure robust device performance.

Candidates should have an MS or PhD in Engineering or Physics and 5+ years in semiconductor reliability or device engineering, with a focus on TDDB, HCI, BTI, and related mechanisms.

Qualifications

Experience driving reliability evaluations for NTI/NPI and mass production.
Ability to lead reliability improvements across multiple departments.
Strong background in semiconductor device physics or reliability degradation mechanisms.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to a team for reliability improvement activities.
Identify, plan, and execute reliability evaluations for NTI/NPI and process changes.
Drive improvement actions for product reliability across local and overseas operations.
Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve fabrication processes.
