Job summary
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a staff-level Reliability Engineer to own reliability engineering for NTI/NPI and advanced CMOS technology nodes. You will collaborate with internal teams, Korea HQ, customers, and Fab to drive reliability from NTI/NPI to mass production, leveraging statistical tools and reliability models.
You will author papers, contribute to conferences, and work with cross-functional teams to advance device integration and technology development.
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Engineering or Physics.
- 10+ years of related experience in semiconductor process, product or device engineering.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to direct a team for reliability improvement activities.
- Identify, plan, and execute reliability evaluations for NTI/NPI, technology qualification, process changes and abnormal events.
- Manage solutions to integration problems across Fab, PIE, Device, Product Test to improve reliability.
- Design, execute, and analyze designed experiments to improve semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Utilize lessons learned to improve reliability margin and define new process integration for new technology nodes.
