Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Manufacturing Quality & Reliability Engineer in the NTI/NPI Team to coordinate qualification of new semiconductor products from development to mass production. This full-time on-site role emphasizes data analysis, risk assessment, and process improvement to ensure high-quality yields.

You will lead NPI qualification, support MP readiness, develop RCCA actions, and collaborate with global teams in Korea to benchmark quality practices, driving excursions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant engineering or science field.
• Proficiency with quality tools and statistical analysis.
• Experience with process integration and fab processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI qualification and MP readiness for diverse products and technology nodes.
• Review boards and communicate technical findings to senior leadership.
• Analyze data to identify gaps and monitor quality KPIs using stats tools.
• Develop risk assessment methods and improve procedures for new tech.
• Drive RCCA/8D actions during FAB qualification to ensure mass production quality.
