Job summary

Valero Energy is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer for our Ardmore Refinery. The role focuses on reliability, technical and engineering services to optimize fixed and rotating equipment life in a safe, effective manner.

You will provide technical support to resolve equipment issues and help implement PM and PDM programs. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering and at least five years of reliability or maintenance experience, with willingness to work on-site at

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Engineering is required.
5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance is required.
On-site work at the Valero Ardmore Refinery is required.

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.
Assist in formulating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive diagnostic maintenance (PDM) programs.
Assist Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance Departments in developing procedures, training, and processes for design parameters.
