Job summary

PBF Energy is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support and reliability improvements for the refinery. The role focuses on developing repair strategies and enhancing machinery reliability to optimize lifecycle costs.

Responsibilities include supporting PM/PdM programs, performing root cause analyses, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient operation. Requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and refinery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Refinery/industrial experience in machinery or rotating equipment discipline preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to lead machinery maintenance and shutdown work.
• Strong interpersonal leadership and mentoring across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for rotating equipment and reliability improvements.
• Develop and audit Preventive Maintenance (PM) and PdM programs.
• Lead root cause failure analyses and incident investigations when needed.
• Support capital project development to ensure reliability and maintainability.
