Job summary
Valero Ardmore Refinery seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical projects, provide troubleshooting and design support, and ensure safe, reliable power systems. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Experience with electrical distribution up to 12.47KV, industrial cogeneration above 10MW, large project execution, protective relay coordination, application and testing, and hazardous area.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the refinery on routine electrical issues and field repairs.
- Perform project manager/engineer duties on capital electrical projects including budget and commissioning.
- Oversee all phases of electrical work on maintenance and capital projects.
- Prepare and submit MOC documentation and drive the change process through startup and closeout.
- Develop and steward electrical system reliability improvement opportunities and update the SKM model.
