Job summary

Valero Ardmore Refinery seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical projects, provide troubleshooting and design support, and ensure safe, reliable power systems. The role requires on-site work at the Ardmore facility with responsibilities spanning capital projects, maintenance support, and system reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with electrical distribution up to 12.47KV, industrial cogeneration above 10MW, large project execution, protective relay coordination, application and testing, and hazardous area.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the refinery on routine electrical issues and field repairs.
• Perform project manager/engineer duties on capital electrical projects including budget and commissioning.
• Oversee all phases of electrical work on maintenance and capital projects.
• Prepare and submit MOC documentation and drive the change process through startup and closeout.
• Develop and steward electrical system reliability improvement opportunities and update the SKM model.
