Job summary

Antares is seeking a Reliability Engineer to own the quantitative reliability analysis for the R1 microreactor. You will develop and maintain models of reactor and plant level reliability, availability, and capacity, and translate goals into measurable subsystem requirements.

You will lead or support DFMEA/FMEA activities, establish reliability targets, and work with multidisciplinary teams to improve design robustness and maintainability throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong background in reliability engineering for complex systems.
• Experience translating top‑level goals into measurable requirements for subsystems.
• Ability to develop and maintain quantitative models and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Own quantitative reliability analysis for the Antares R1 microreactor and maintain related models.
• Establish reliability targets for systems, subsystems, and components based on capacity factor and requirements.
• Develop reliability block diagrams, fault trees, failure mode analyses, and other quantitative tools.
