Job summary

Valero is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to optimize fixed and rotating equipment life at the Ardmore refinery. This salaried role requires on-site presence and offers opportunities to lead PM and PDM programs while supporting outages and equipment enhancements.

The ideal candidate holds a Engineering degree with 5 years of reliability/maintenance experience and is committed to safety and operational excellence at Valero's Ardmore facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher level degree in Engineering required.
• 5 years of engineering experience in reliability or maintenance required.
• Able and willing to work on-site at the Valero Ardmore Refinery.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance in resolving equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.
• Assists in formulating, implementing, maintaining, and auditing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PDM) programs.
• Assist Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance Departments in developing procedures, training, and processes to ensure equipment is operated within its design parameters.
• Advise engineering on new capital designs and installations to ensure that equipment reliability, operability, and maintainability are addressed.
• Develop and review equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement.
• Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvement.
• Provide Refinery support during planned and unplanned outages, including availability to respond to and support critical business needs during off-hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Performs all duties following the safety rules and guidelines established by the Refinery.
