Job summary
Valero Ardmore Refinery is hiring a Senior Reliability Engineer to optimize fixed and rotating equipment life and support operations in a safety‑driven environment. The role requires evaluating design, operation, and maintenance problems and leading reliability improvements.
You will be on-site, collaborating with maintenance and operations to implement PM and PDM programs while supporting outages and capital projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required or equivalent.
- 5+ years engineering experience in reliability or maintenance required.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to resolve equipment design, operation, and maintenance problems.
- Develop and audit Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic Maintenance (PDM) programs.
- Assist Operations, Product Control, and Maintenance Departments with procedures and training to keep equipment within design parameters.
- Advise on new capital designs and installations to ensure reliability, operability, and maintainability.
- Develop and track cost justifications for reliability improvements.
- Provide refinery support during outages and respond to critical business needs, including after-hours.
