Job summary
Parsons is seeking a senior Release Train Engineer to lead Agile execution within the Federal Solutions program. You will partner with product owners, systems engineering, operations, and leadership to align priorities, dependencies, and delivery objectives across multiple Agile Release Trains.
The role requires extensive SAFe experience, PI planning expertise, and a TS/SCI with poly clearance. You will drive continuous improvement, measure delivery health, and ensure Jira reflects program
Qualifications
- 10+ years as Release Train Engineer in SAFe or large-scale Agile.
- BS in Engineering/CS/STEM with 12+ years experience or MS with 10 years in relevant programs.
- Experience leading PI planning, managing cross-team dependencies, coordinating delivery across multiple Agile teams.
- Experience developing Agile execution metrics, delivery reporting, forecasting, and program health assessments.
- Experience utilizing Jira for planning, execution, reporting, workflow management, and governance of technical baseline.
- Knowledge of ART operations, dependency management, risk management in large-scale Agile.
- Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain Agile execution standards, governance processes, and best practices across the program.
- Coordinate PI planning activities across multiple ARTs and teams.
- Facilitate identification and resolution of cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments.
- Drive synchronization across development, integration, testing, deployment, operations, and sustainment.
- Ensure Agile execution data and planning artifacts in Jira reflect program status and commitments.
- Support configuration management and governance of the technical baseline in Jira.
- Develop and maintain program-level execution metrics, delivery reporting, forecasting, and health assessments.
- Monitor team execution performance, capacity, commitments, and delivery trends.
- Partner with product owners and systems engineering to align priorities with program objectives.
- Facilitate Agile leadership forums, Scrum of Scrums, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Escalate significant risks and resource constraints to program leadership.
