Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Manager, Release Management to lead release engineers and coordinators across the Xvantage platform. You will own the production release calendar, readiness reviews, and post-release validation while advancing automation and progressive delivery practices.

You will collaborate with engineering, QA, operations, and the business to ensure safe, predictable software delivery and governance across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in release, deployment or change management within large-scale enterprise software.
• 3+ years of direct people management with proven development of engineers.
• Deep ITIL change management knowledge with risk classification and CAB processes.
• Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD tooling and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of release engineers and coordinators, including goal setting and performance reviews.
• Own end-to-end release governance: calendar, readiness, go/no-go, and post-release validation.
• Drive deployment automation and progressive delivery (canary, blue-green, feature flags).
• Communicate release scope and risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
