Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc seeks a seasoned Release Manager to lead a team of release engineers and coordinators, owning end-to-end production releases and governance. You’ll drive automation, progressive delivery, and risk management while coordinating with engineering, QA, and operations across regions.

You will shape release strategy, improve deployment metrics, and mentor engineers to strengthen capabilities in an enterprise scale environment. A BA/BS and SOX awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of release, deployment or change management within large-scale enterprise software or e-commerce.
• 3+ years of people management with proven development of engineers.
• Deep knowledge of ITIL change management, risk classification and audit evidence.
• Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD tooling and deployment pipelines.
• Experience running production releases with meaningful business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of release engineers and coordinators; establish coverage for critical releases.
• Own production release calendar end-to-end; oversee readiness, go/no-go decisions and post-release validation.
• Chair readiness reviews; enforce change management standards and compliance (SOX, audits).
• Drive deployment automation and progressive delivery (canary, blue‑green, feature flags).
• Communicate release scope and risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
