Job summary

ASX Group is seeking an experienced Release Manager to lead planning, scheduling and deployment of software across environments. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage interdependencies, and drive release quality in a highly regulated financial setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, testing, deploying, maintaining and controlling software releases across environments.
• Experience managing others while coordinating Environment and Release Management activities.
• Knowledge of release management principles, methodologies and tools.
• Experience across legacy on‑prem to cloud workloads (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Communicate scope, purpose and status of releases, environments and risks to ensure quality and timely deployments.
• Plan and facilitate release and patching activities across development and testing environments.
• Manage interdependencies to meet milestones and maintain release integrity.
• Maintain environment consistency across full lifecycle including production and external testing.
• Provide environment support across test environments and chair war rooms as needed.
• Conduct post-release PIRs to identify and address quality issues.
• Define and manage change control processes for readiness criteria and artefacts.
• Drive continuous improvement in release and environment management processes.
• Coordinate packaging across the CHESS project and communicate with vendors and delivery teams.
