Why join the ASX? When you join ASX, you’re joining a company with a strong purpose – to power a stronger economic future by enabling a fair and dynamic marketplace for all. In your new role, you’ll be part of a leading global securities exchange with a strong brand. We are known for being a trusted market operator and an exciting data hub.

We are more than a securities exchange! The ASX team brings together talented people from a diverse range of disciplines. We run critical market infrastructure, with 1 in 3 people employed within technology. Yet we have a unique complexity of roles across a range of disciplines such as operations, program delivery, financial products, investor engagement, risk and compliance. We’re proud to foster a workplace where diversity is celebrated and inclusion is part of our everyday culture. Our employee‑led networks champion LGBTIQ+ inclusion, promote gender equality, accessibility and wellbeing, inspire giving and volunteering, and celebrate cultural and religious events, creating a sense of belonging for all. As an AWEI Bronze employer and member of the Champions of Change Coalition for gender equality, we’re committed to a fair and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.

Your responsibilities:
  • Environment Management Own the end-to-end environment strategy for the ASX 24 project. Coordinate provisioning, availability, maintenance, and support of test, integration, UAT, CDE, and production-like environments. Manage environment schedules, dependencies, and competing demands across multiple workstreams. Ensure environments are fit for purpose and available to support agreed testing milestones. Monitor environment health, stability, and readiness, escalating risks and issues as required.
  • Release Management Develop and maintain integrated release calendars across ASX, vendors, and internal technology teams. Coordinate release planning, deployment activities, rollback procedures, and production readiness reviews. Manage release governance, approvals, and change processes. Facilitate release rehearsals and implementation readiness activities. Ensure releases are executed in a controlled, auditable, and low-risk manner.
  • Testing Enablement Work closely with the Testing Lead and QA teams to ensure environments meet testing requirements. Coordinate environment readiness for End-to-End Testing, integration testing, and customer testing activities. Track environment-related defects, dependencies, and blockers. Support test execution planning and scheduling activities.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Coordination Act as the primary contact for environment and release matters across project teams and external participants. Coordinate customer access, environment onboarding, and testing support activities. Facilitate workshops and planning sessions involving technology, testing, operations, vendors, and customers. Provide regular status reporting on environment readiness and release progress.
  • Implementation Readiness Support Industry-Wide Testing (IWT) and implementation readiness activities. Lead deployment rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and operational readiness exercises. Coordinate go-live planning, cutover preparation, and implementation governance. Contribute to contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Governance & Reporting Maintain environment and release governance artefacts. Produce regular reporting on risks, issues, dependencies, environment usage, and release status. Ensure adherence to ASX delivery, change management, and operational risk frameworks.

Must have:
