Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Release Engineer to own end-to-end release management for Windows, Mac, Linux, Containers and mobile deployments in a fast-paced, scale-out environment. You will coordinate builds, validate releases, and automate tooling across multiple platforms.

Ideal candidates bring experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket), scripting (Python/Go), and strong cross-functional collaboration. This hybrid role requires in-office days in Redmond, WA.

Qualifications

• Experience in release management for software development.
• Proficient with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
• Experience building and troubleshooting releases at scale.
• Ability to interpret test results and debug issues.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and telemetry tools like Splunk.
• Knowledge of Python and Go scripting for automation.
• Strong Agile/Scrum and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end release process from build to production deployment.
• Coordinate releases across Windows, Mac, Linux, containers and mobile.
• Improve release processes and release cadences.
• Facilitate cross-department coordination of release activities.
• Develop scripts and automation tools for building and deploying releases.
• Manage multi-platform release calendar and communicate risks.
• Measure release effectiveness and drive efficiency improvements.
• Define rollback mechanisms and capture release performance indicators.
• Lead release blocker meetings and go-live activities.
