Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Release Engineer to manage the release lifecycle across Windows, Mac, Linux, and containers. You will coordinate across teams, build automation, and ensure quality deployments in a fast-paced environment.

You will work in a hybrid mode with in-office days, focusing on scalability for millions of endpoints and data-driven deployment decisions using telemetry and AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience in release management for software development.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.
• Experience with build systems and troubleshooting build failures.
• Ability to interpret test results and debug issues.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence; Splunk querying; Python and Go.
• Strong problem-solving for multiple concurrent releases.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum lifecycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate across divisions worldwide.
• Attention to detail with timely decision-making.
• Willingness to support critical release windows outside normal hours.
• Experience applying AI to improve workflows and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the release process end-to-end from build to deployment and post-release monitoring.
• Manage release builds across Windows, Mac, Linux, containers, and mobile.
• Improve release management processes and cadence.
• Coordinate release activities across departments.
• Develop scripts and automation for building, integrating, and deploying releases.
• Track multi-platform release calendar.
• Inform stakeholders of release risks and mitigations.
• Measure release effectiveness with metrics.
• Define rollback mechanisms and KPIs for releases.
• Lead release blocker meetings and go-live activities.
