CrowdStrike, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Release Engineer to own the end-to-end release process for Windows, Mac, Linux, containers, and mobile. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, scripting, and debugging, plus strong collaboration skills and Agile/Scrum experience. Expect in-office days two per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in release management for software development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.
• Build systems and troubleshooting build failures.
• Ability to interpret test results and debug to identify issue patterns.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Python, Go.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent releases in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Own the release process end-to-end from build creation to production deployment and post-release monitoring.
• Coordinate releases across multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, Containers, mobile).
• Establish and improve consistent release management processes and cadence.
• Facilitate cross-department coordination of release activities.
• Develop scripts and automation tools for building, integrating, and deploying releases.
• Track and manage a multi-platform release calendar.
• Inform stakeholders of release risks and mitigate them.
• Measure release effectiveness and identify efficiency improvements.
• Define rollback mechanisms and KPIs for releases.
• Lead release blocker meetings and go-live activities.
