Electric Power Systems in Fayetteville, GA, seeks a Sr. Relay Technician to lead protection and control testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting for substation and industrial systems. You will manage projects, mentor field staff, and ensure safe, reliable operation while interfacing with customers.

Candidates should have hands-on relay experience, ability to travel, and strong knowledge of relay schemes, testing software, and documentation; NETA background preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical/electronic technology or engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• NETA III/IV certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead job site safety briefings and enforce safety policies.
• Analyze protection schemes for power systems and supervise testing/commissioning.
• Perform complex troubleshooting of protection, control, and communication systems.
• Develop project execution plans, commissioning procedures, and outage sequences.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, test results, and documentation.
• Mentor Relay Technician I/II and junior engineers; interface with customers.
