Job summary

ModularMission Critical is seeking an experienced electrical tester to lead inspection, testing, and startup of low/medium voltage power equipment in data center settings. Expect travel locally, regionally, and internationally as needed.

You will perform testing of cables, switchgear, relays, breakers, and transformers, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical testing, knowledge of ANSI/IEEE/NETA standards, and hands-on experience with

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience with HS Diploma/GED or higher education path.
Possess a valid US work authorization.
NETA / NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on electrical testing experience.
Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards.
Ability to read schematics and test protective relays, breakers, transformers, switchgear.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house.
Test low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, relays, and breakers.
Contain material costs by eliminating wasteful practices and implementing control measures.
Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies as needed.
Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
Use trade drawings to identify design and installation problems.
Maintain detailed test reports and client documentation.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients for efficient commissioning.
