Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver industry-leading client service in person and by phone. The role includes developing and expanding client relationships, offering financial solutions, and coordinating with internal partners to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include processing routine maintenance, supporting branch sales targets, advising on lending options, handling teller duties as needed, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. (Required)
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service as well as individual and branch sales targets by offering products and services with a focus on developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to other internal specialists.
• Participates fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Attends sales, service and product knowledge meetings and training to advance knowledge of sales techniques and products.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience by engaging clients and handling teller transactions as needed.
