Job summary

Truist in Bluffton, SC is seeking a regular retail banking professional to deliver an industry-leading client service experience while developing and expanding client relationships. You will provide financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals, and may be cross trained to perform teller duties as needed.

The role emphasizes meeting branch sales targets, collaborating with internal specialists, and advancing knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days and pass NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints and travel as needed.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced client service and handle routine maintenance requests.
• Contribute to meeting branch sales targets by offering products and services.
• Refer complex client needs to internal specialists for growth opportunities.
• Participate in branch leadership routines and sales initiatives.
• Advance knowledge of sales techniques and product information through training.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk policies.
• Engage clients with courteous service while conducting transactions.
