Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and occasional travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposits, credit, and other product/service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services to develop, expand and retain relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates fully in all components of the established Retail Community Bank routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through trainings and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies and keeps up-to-date with policy changes.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience, including teller transactions and greeting clients.
