Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a Licensed Relationship Banker to serve as a trusted advisor, delivering exceptional client service and growing the branch through consultative guidance.

You will engage clients to understand goals, recommend tailored banking and investment solutions, and open and service accounts while supporting digital adoption and collaborating with specialists for an integrated, compliant client experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree or military equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in retail banking or consultative relationship sales with a track record of results.
• Strong communication and active listening skills; ability to educate clients on technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of clients by deepening relationships and acquiring new ones.
• Meet with clients in person and by phone to understand needs and tailor recommendations.
• Understand each client’s financial situation, goals, and needs.
• Recommend and deliver customized solutions—credit, deposits, investments, insurance—via internal partners.
• Open and service consumer and small business accounts and support digital banking enrollment.
• Originate and process consumer credit requests and coordinate handoffs for complex needs.
• Drive growth through deposits, loans, investments, and fee income.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver an integrated client experience.
• Build pipeline through outreach and disciplined follow-up.
• Educate clients on digital tools and financial wellness resources.
• Answer inquiries about products, services, and policies.
• Stay informed on economic and market trends impacting clients.
• Monitor client portfolios for changes and risk exposure.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
