Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Financial Analyst in Wellesley, MA on a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite per week. The role focuses on Stop Loss Captive reporting, accruals, and process improvement for the Excess Reinsurance team, including automation and AI-enabled enhancements.

The candidate will collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, and Reinsurance partners to ensure accurate monthly reporting, data validation, and streamlined workflows. A 9-month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of insurance finance/actuarial/operations experience.
• Advanced Excel with complex formulas and large datasets.
• Understanding of group ceded reinsurance structures.
• Ability to interpret reinsurance treaties and obligations.
• Experience with automation or AI to improve efficiency.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot or Claude.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Excellent written communication for external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly stop loss captive reporting and accruals.
• Manage source files in the first five business days each month.
• Apply treaty rules to validate and reconcile data.
• Produce submission reporting by treaty year after close.
• Improve workflows through automation and AI-driven redesign.
• Support Data Iku migration and transition from Access databases.
