Job summary

PACS is seeking a Reimbursement Manager to lead a small team and drive senior-level cost reporting for Medicare and Medicaid across multiple states. This role partners with operational leaders to provide ad hoc reporting, data models, and forecasts supporting reimbursement strategies.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in healthcare cost reporting (SNF/post-acute), strong Excel and cost reporting software skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of healthcare cost reporting experience in SNF or post-acute care.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and cost reporting software proficiency.
• Experience managing direct reports and balancing team workload.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and manage a small team of reimbursement professionals.
• Coordinate senior-level preparation, review, and submission of annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports across multiple states.
• Partner with regional leaders to provide ad hoc reporting and financial forecasting to support reimbursement rates.
• Coordinate collection and delivery of audit materials for MACs and state Medicaid audits.
• Perform complex revenue recognition analysis and reconcile reimbursement data with general ledger.
