The ideal candidate holds a BSN or MSN, is licensed as an Illinois RN, CPR certified, and demonstrates strong communication, critical thinking, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program or accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (with commitment to complete BSN/MSN within 2 years).
• Illinois license to practice as a registered nurse.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care including specialized treatments, medications, and coordinating patient care with other departments.
• Collect and interpret physiological, psychosocial, and functional data to inform nursing diagnoses.
• Assist physician during examinations and treatments.
• Formulate nursing diagnoses and integrate into written assessments.
• Assess patients, establish priorities, and identify crisis situations.
• Implement interventions, evaluate progress, and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Provide patient and family education regarding care, outcomes, home care instructions, and referrals.
• Prepare and report on patient care plans to health team members and document appropriately.
• Review and report on SRAlab policies related to patient care.
