Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a seasoned compliance professional to support the implementation, maintenance, and administration of our compliance program in the Milwaukee area. You will perform risk assessments, monitoring, testing, and surveillance to ensure regulatory alignment and effective controls.

Collaboration with first and second line partners is essential. Ideal candidates have strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, plus knowledge of regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Typically 6+ years of relevant experience in compliance/audit.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• CIA certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining compliance programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, monitoring, testing and surveillance activities.
• Advises on regulatory developments and policy implementations.
• Document testing evidence and communicate findings to management.
• Lead and review testing engagements and coordinate remediation efforts.
