Job summary

Exponent is seeking a Principal Regulatory Scientist based in Philadelphia to lead the Chemical Regulation and Food Safety practice. You will manage complex regulatory projects, guide clients through EPA TSCA requirements, and build new business with a focus on integrity and scientific rigor.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of EPA TSCA experience, a PhD or Master’s in a science field, and a proven record of client engagement, strategic advisory, and mentorship of junior staff within a

Qualifications

Masters or Ph.D. in a science-related field.
Ten+ years of EPA TSCA regulatory experience with practical knowledge of U.S. EPA TSCA regulations.
Ten+ years of consulting experience.
Proven track record of business generation and client development.
Strong reputation for integrity, responsiveness, and technical expertise.
Excellent written and oral communication skills for technical and regulatory documents.
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new client engagements and build long-term partnerships.
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while delivering high-quality work.
Lead projects and provide regulatory and technical review for client work.
Synthesize regulatory information for clients and regulators.
Mentor junior staff and manage project budgets and invoices.
