Job summary

Huntington Bancshares Incorporated is seeking an Regulatory Reporting Accounting Manager to lead the preparation, research, and submission of regulatory filings in accordance with Federal Reserve, FFIEC and OCC requirements. You will analyze complex banking reports, collaborate with IT and Finance data partners, and ensure documentation and controls for accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics field.
• 6 or more years of experience in auditing, regulatory reporting, or SEC reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, research, review and submit required regulatory filings in compliance with standards from Federal Reserve, FFIEC and OCC for Huntington Bancshares and The Huntington National Bank.
• Preparation and analysis of required banking regulatory reports such as Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q, FR Y-14A, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15, TIC Reports, FR Y-6, FR Y-10, FR Y-8 and others as needed.
• Create clean, accurate, well‑organized documentation of reported numbers and supporting conclusions from guidance
• Analyze results and provide insightful detail to management for trends and fluctuations
• Collaborate, build relationships and communicate requirements across the organization to gather reportable data, including providing business requirements to data partners and complete user acceptance testing
• Interact with regulators regarding various reports
• Perform reconciliations to other regulatory and external filings
• Identify and work with others within the organization to improve reporting data and generate additional operational efficiencies while maintaining compliance
• Ensure maintenance of procedural documentation for the regulatory reporting process and execution of appropriate review controls
• Identify, articulate, and coordinate regulatory reporting issues with Risk Management, Internal Audit and Legal
• Special projects related to regulatory reporting efforts as needed
