Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Accounting Manager to lead the preparation, research, review, and submission of regulatory filings in line with FFIEC and OCC guidance.

The role involves preparing reports (Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14 series, FFIEC 009, FR Y-6, etc.), ensuring accurate documentation, and partnering with IT and Finance to gather data and test requirements in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• 6+ years of experience in auditing, regulatory reporting or SEC reporting.
• Public accounting and/or external financial reporting experience preferred.
• Experience with banking regulations and/or core banking processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze regulatory reports (Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14 etc.).
• Document reported numbers and supporting conclusions from guidance.
• Analyze results and provide detail to management on trends and fluctuations.
• Collaborate across IT and Finance Data Resource Group to gather data and test requirements.
• Interacts with regulators regarding reports and reconciles data with filings.
• Identify data improvements to support regulatory reporting and efficiency.
• Maintain procedural documentation and review controls for filings.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting with Risk Management, Internal Audit and Legal.
• Handle special projects related to regulatory reporting as needed.
