Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking an Regulatory Reporting Accounting Manager to lead the preparation, review and submission of regulatory filings compliant with Fed, FFIEC and OCC guidelines.

In this role, you will coordinate data gathering with IT and Finance Data Resource Group, explain requirements to data partners, perform reconciliations, and interact with regulators. Strong Excel and regulatory reporting experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• 6+ years of experience in auditing, regulatory reporting or SEC reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, research, review and submit regulatory filings in compliance with FFIEC, Fed rules and OCC.
• Prepare and analyze banking regulatory reports (Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14Q, FR Y-14A, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15, TIC, FR Y-6/10/8).
• Create well-documented data supporting reported numbers and conclusions.
• Collaborate with IT and Finance Data Resource Group; perform user acceptance testing on data initiatives.
• Interact with regulators regarding various reports.
• Perform reconciliations to other regulatory and external filings.
• Identify data improvements and drive operational efficiencies while ensuring compliance.
• Maintain procedural documentation and review controls for regulatory reporting.
• Identify and coordinate regulatory reporting issues with Risk Management, Internal Audit and Legal.
• Work on special projects related to regulatory reporting.
