Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Staff Attorney to join our team. The role supports the Chief Legal Officer and Assistant General Counsel in drafting legal documents, managing templates and records, and performing research under limited supervision.

This position offers exposure to regulatory and corporate matters and opportunities to influence company initiatives. The candidate should have a law degree, 5 years of legal experience, and the ability to advise on policy and contract

Qualifications

• Completion of a law degree through an accredited program.
• License to practice law in Wisconsin preferred.
• 5 years of experience working in legal required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Responsibilities

• Imparts Navitus and SSM Health values and integrates them into CQI activities.
• Prepares legal documents, such as memorandums and correspondence.
• Inform the development of Navitus initiatives from a legal perspective and provide guidance on legal issues.
• Provides legal counsel to staff on the implications of business objectives and policies.
• Researches statutes, decisions, contracts, and legal codes.
• Files legal documents and correspondence in filing systems.
• Develops processes for indexing and filing legal documents and managing contracts.
• Other duties as assigned
