Job summary

You will provide legal counsel to staff on business objectives, analyze statutes and contracts, and help shape Navitus' regulatory posture. Strong drafting and organization skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a law degree through an accredited program.
• License to practice law in Wisconsin preferred.
• 5 years of experience working in legal required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Legal Officer and Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory, with drafting legal documents and templates.
• Manage document templates and corporate legal records.
• Perform records and legal research and prepare correspondence under limited supervision.
• Provide legal counsel to Navitus staff on implications of business objectives and policies.
• Research statutes, judicial decisions, contracts, and legal codes.
• Develop processes for indexing and filing legal documents and contracts.
