Job summary
Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Staff Attorney to join our team. The position will assist the Chief Legal Officer and Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory, in drafting legal documents and templates, managing legal templates and records, and performing legal research with limited supervision.
The role involves advising staff on legal implications of business objectives, supporting compliance programs, and contributing to Navitus initiatives from a legal perspective.
Qualifications
- Completion of a law degree from an accredited program is required.
- License to practice law in Wisconsin preferred.
- 5 years of experience working in legal required.
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
- Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents and templates.
- Manage document templates and corporate legal records.
- Perform records and legal research.
- Prepare correspondence under limited supervision.
- Inform development of Navitus initiatives from a legal perspective.
- Provide legal counsel to Navitus staff on business objectives and policies.
- Research statutes, contracts, and legal codes.
- File legal documents in digital and physical filing systems.
- Develop processes for indexing and filing of legal documents and managing contracts.
- Other duties as assigned.
